Fr Ivan Dufanets Ivano - Frankivsk. Presently studying in Rome.who stayed with us during the Summer of 2002 to improve his English.
Yuriy Khamulyak who stayed with us in June 2003 in order to improve his English.
Fr Andriy Zhyburskyy who stayed with us during the Summer of 2003 in order to improve his English
.Fr Igor Boyko who stayed with us over Christmas and New Year 2004/5 in order to improve his English
Easter 2007. Fr Juan Jose Hernandez from El Salvador who was studying English and Arabic in London before going out to the missions in Egypt spent two weeks at St Joseph's and St Mary's Chorley.Here he is pictured with parishioners from St Joseph's.
In recent years (2014-2020, along with St Mary's Parish in Chorley, we have hosted several seminarians of the Archdiocese on Pastoral Placement: Fr Ged Callacher, Fr Thomas Clarke, Martin Fyles, Deacon Michael Harwood.
